SCC Covid-19 Update 3/24/21

Dear SCC & Friends,

My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. ~Psalm 121:2-4

Update #55

How many times has the Lord saved our lives? How many times has he delivered us from danger or “the snare of the trapper”? My uncomplicated answer is too many to count…My youth had a “Huckleberry Finn” quality of mischievous fun and adventure. We often stretched the limits of what would be considered prudent, but by God’s grace we lived for another day. I’m sure all of us have stories of near misses that could easily have brought our demise. I look back not only at my life, but those I know and love. I think of the highs and lows and realize once again that our Lord and Savior was with us at all times in all places. I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. ~Ps. 27:13 Selah…

It is comforting to know that while we sleep the Lord never sleeps nor slumbers… While we fret, He remains forever the Prince of Peace, regardless of circumstances or what we carry in our hearts at this present time. …The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever. ~Ps. 121:8 We have no greater gift than eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.~Jn. 3:16 He never leaves or forsakes…on the road…at play…in conflict…among family and friends…in and through the challenges of life. We get weary and tired, but not the Lord Who gives to His beloved (that’s you and me) even in his sleep. ~Ps. 127:2 Jesus gives us just what we need, right when it’s neededKing David’s words ring true, Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. ~Ps. 23:6We were made for these days…Keep up the good work!
